Pennyroyal Scuba Center is proud to host Women’s Dive Day 2025 — a global celebration of women in diving, ocean exploration, and community. Whether you’re gearing up for your first dive or logging your hundredth, we invite all divers to join us for a day filled with adventure, empowerment, and fun!

Women’s Dive Day unites divers of all backgrounds to celebrate inclusivity, conservation, and the incredible impact women make in the diving world. At Pennyroyal, we’re committed to growing this legacy in Kentucky’s only full-service scuba diving park.

We’re planning a full day of diving and festivities, including:

  • Fun Dives through our Clearly Different quarry

  • Try Scuba Experiences for first-time divers

  • Manufacture Reps from top scuba brands

  • Underwater Treasure Hunt with prizes

  • BBQ Lunch & Chuck A Duck Fundraiser

7th Annual Women's Dive Day Event

Welcome to the 7th Annual Women’s Dive Day. Training agency PADI started this several years ago and is designed to bring the diving community together to celebrate women divers. Each year we hold our event here at the park and are joined by some of the best local dive shops to help put on this event. As always Women divers get free entry into the park. our team of volunteers assist the ladies by transporting equipment, air fills and more. 2025 will still have shirt sponsors to help provide the ladies attending the event receive a free event shirt. Additional shirts will be available for purchase & guys can purchase theirs as well. These will be on a first come, first serve basis. See the Rash Guard Information Below

Events of the Day:

We have asked each shop to come up with a fun event to host during surface intervals. We are also organizing the return of the WDD Treasure Hunt where the ladies may participate for free, sorry guys if you want to take part it will be a $60 fee to enter(Includes Dive Entry). Enjoy silly photos with the WDD photo booth & much more.  Keep looking out on this page as we will be adding more to it as information and activities are posted. Attention Dive Shop Sponsors!!!

Decorate your space. That’s right. The theme for this year is “Yo, Ho A Diving We Will Go” and we want to see your best decorated pavilion space. Make your Pavilion the best Pirate themed. There will be Best Pavilion Decorations award & Best Dressed Pirate Award.

Rash Guard Information

As always our lady divers will receive a free event rash guard. We have 125 various sizes available at check in. Please note that size & quantities are limited. These are handed out one free per lady diver. Once all ladies are checked in, we will release any remaining rash guards for purchase. These are $35 per shirt. We want to make sure all the women divers get their free one before we start selling them.   Event shirts have all been claimed as of 7/13/25.

This event registration is now closed. There are no day of registration this year. Women divers will still be admitted to dive for free however, will not be able to participate in the treasure hunt. We look forward to seeing everyone on Women’s Dive Day.
