New Dock for 2023

If you visited the park last season, you may had noticed that our dock on the West end of the pavilion area was missing. That dock was built in 2013 and was getting in bad shape. We are all about the safety of our guest, so we moved to to the main entry/exit point to dismantle it. The 2022 season operated without a replacement and made the main entry/exit congested at times. Not only that but walking in full gear back over to the West pavilion area was a haul when you have nearly 100 lbs worth of gear on. In the fall of 2022 we started drawing up plans for a new dock to be built.

We are getting closer to finishing up this much needed amenity. We are happy to say that now we are 95% complete with it, just a couple more things to do and it will be ready to welcome diver for the 2023 season. We do have a few dock rules that will have to be followed to make sure it will last for years to come.

  1. Please keep walkway & stairs open.
  2. Do not leave equipment on the dock.
  3. No Sunbathing on the dock (it’s for diver entry & exit from the water)
  4. No hanging or swinging from the cross rail over the steps.
  5. Non divers that are with divers Must use the main entry/exit in the confined water area. (No non divers on the dock)
  6. Side Mount Tanks must be hung in the tank hangers at the end of the dock. 2 tank tie offs per side of u/w platform.
  7. Please use the hand rails while entering or exiting the water & dock ramp.
  8. No jumping or flipping off of dock (Giant Stride or Back Rolls are ok).
  9. Only enter or exit when steps are clear of other divers. (2 divers may enter/exit on each side of steps.
  10. Max of 6 divers on dock at a time.

By following these rules, you will be helping us by keeping the dock as a safe & convenient way to enter and exit the water. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us take care of this wonderful addition to the park.
